THE FARMHOUSE

This is a picture of a mural, that I have saved in my favorites. It's my daydream house, that I had pictured in my mind when I was younger. I saw a big farmhouse, set on a large piece of lush farmland, that would hold all of my family and friends that would come for visits. There would be many outer buildings, which would consist of a barn, with a couple of horses, a hen house, and a proud rooster strutting around. Thick green, grass where our beautiful dogs would be able to romp. A large porch would wrap around the house, with rocking chairs, carefully placed, so that we could keep a careful watch over our Collies as they played in the grass. Maybe even a new little puppy from time to time. :) A stream would fill a small pond on the land and a variety of waterbirds would make it their home. The house would have a country kitchen with a large table, chairs, and a long bench on one side, that would take up most of it's length. The aroma of fresh baked apple pie and chocolate chip cookies, for the kids, would linger in the air. Everyone would always know they were welcome, and look forward to each visit. This daydream will always have a place in my heart.

I loved meeting your mother in law. Isn't it wonderful to have such a good relationship with our mother in laws? (I just hate those mother in law jokes) My mother in law is also very special.

Morning D! I went to Tootsie's and she was announcing you have a blog! Oh, it looks so nice. I just started one myself two days ago! Seems like all us RMSers are starting blogs. Woo Hoo! We'll have fun, even tho I really don't know what I'm doing yet. Oh, the mural is beautiful and I would love to be in that scene too! Come see me sometimes.
Have a beautiful weekend.
