The ingredients:
2 Qts. Four Queens Whiskey (Don't be surprised if you can't find this brand in your liquor
store, it is 101 proof, so just substitute with what you can get)
2 Qts. Ginger Ale
2 C. Honey
2 C. Orange juice
4 Lemons (squeeze the juice & add to pot)
4 Oranges (squeeze the juice & add to pot)
8 Cinnamon Sticks
4 tsp. Caraway Seeds
2 Tbs. Whole Allspice
16 Whole Cloves
3 Vanilla Beans
Thomas is rolling the oranges and lemons before he slices and squeezes them.
Large pot ready on the stove to cook in
Add all ingredients except honey and whiskey to a large pot. Boil until reduced to half. Strain and return liquid only to pot. Add honey. Remove completely from source of heat and add whiskey. (NEVER BOIL THE WHISKEY) Return mixture to heat and cook on very low heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Remember DO NOT simmer or boil. Cool in a covered pot. Pour into bottles after cooled, filtering through cheesecloth.

Hey friend, thanks so much for the sweet comment you left on color outside the lines. What can I tell you about my mural....It was done by a local aritst in our little town, a gift to me from my honey Christmas 02. I love it and will never paint over it. I told the artist I wanted a landscape with water, but not to bring any blue paint. lol I think she did good... if you have anymore questions just get my e-mail from artie and I would love to hear from you. vickydarnell

Hi D - I thought I left you a comment - go figure I don't see it here. I must of forgot to hit submit or something. Well, no loss, I'm back now, stop on over I have a little something something for you. I think my comment must have said something to the effect of (if you're a Food Network fan) that I bet Aunt Sandy (Sandra Lee) can't wait to get her hands on your recipe. Hopefully, this gets to you this time. I hope you weren't thinking that I wasn't visiting....Robyn
