Thought you might enjoy seeing a close-up of the doves. They were an earned, hostess gift from a Home Interiors party that I had many years ago, they are from the Masterpiece Collection by HOMCO, out of Mexico and one of my favorite pieces. I was only too happy to put them on display someplace where they could be appreciated more.

TRYING TO ENCOURAGE SPRING
After our new hardwood floors were put down in our dining room, I made a new SPRING arrangement for the table. However, I decided that the foyer needed the color more, so it ended up on the dry sink in there instead. However, I still needed something on the dining room table and came up with what is shown below. The cage with the doves, had been used on the very bottom shelf of the china hutch in our kitchen, almost sitting on the floor. It was very seldom noticed by anyone, and of course collected a lot of dust bunnies. I added a few other pieces along with it, and enjoy having something other than flowers on the table for once.

Hello my friend, I'm taking a break from cleaning and such. Saw you had a new post and had to scoot right over. I "love" the birdcage as a centerpiece. And the bunnies around it stole my heart..don't you love shopping around your own home to find just the "perfect" thing? I hope you're having a super day..hugs ~lynne~
You've created a lovely spring display whereas it can't come here soon enough. Great idea D.
Loving that birdcage with the lovely doves. I also love your china cabinet with the red toile backing...ooh, too pretty!
First I saw the birdcage, then the bunnies..then suddenly your table hit me. It is just beautiful! Your tulip arrangement makes me in a rush to have Spring arrive. Also..YOUR floors! You must be thrilled! I am waiting for mine..AND my carpet. Your home is just too gorgeous! What a treat to visit your blog!
