This set of dishes is Ivy Park, by Christopher Stuart. I've always loved Ivy, so this was a set I knew I had to have as soon as I saw it.
Keeping the pattern in mind, I used Ivy plant that we received as a gift for our last anniversary. Because I've been wanting to share this large platter, I used it under the plant. I'll show a close up picture of the platter in another photo.
Shown here is dinner plate, with the salad plate, on top of yellow sandwich plate, that just has Portugal written on the bottom. I used the same flatware that I used last week, I thought it went best with the setting.
I really like these sandwich plates and wish I had bought more when I purchased these.
The dinner plate.
Next I show a close-up of my favorite goblets. I bought them many years ago at and Ethan Allen Gallery and have been searching for years for more, without any luck.
I layered my placemats, using two of the cabbage leaf mats and an ivory, crochet placemat in the center of the two. Yellow napkins were used to compliment the yellow sandwich dish.
I very seldom use these rimmed soups for soup, I find them too large, so I'll often use them for vegetable dishes. I placed this one shown, on a brass base from my chimney globe, to keep the heat from the dish, off of my table.
The candle sticks are Baldwin Brass and the peg, votive was given to me by a friend, they are very old.
The covered dish below is the only other piece that I've ever found to match my goblets. I use it on the table for various things, but mostly for sweetener packets when coffee is served.
I haven't shown and of my bread baskets in the past so I added this one to the table today.
Here is the close-up of the platter. I purchased four pieces with this pattern on it, however I broke two of the best pieces while cleaning one day. There was a water pitcher and it was beautiful. I couldn't bare to throw the pieces out for the longest time.
One more picture.
I've set all these little English Cottages on the table to go with the English Ivy there. They were a giveaway, with a purchase, during a Christmas promotion at Boscov's one year.
The next piece is from Hallmark . If my memory serves me right, they sold for $50 each at the card store, but I got them on a buyout, costing me $5 each. I have several other pieces.
And one of the other pieces to the collection.
Look at the little rocking chair on the porch.
Another one of the little giveaway houses.
