TABLESCAPE THURSDAY

Hi everyone, welcome to another TABLESCAPE THURSDAY brought to you by our HOSTESS (with the mostest) ;) SUSAN at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

I know that there of those of you, that have read my blog in the past, and saw that I have passed on, what I believed to be great dinnerware buys at BOSCOV'S. Well... I received another email from Boscov's yesterday, and some of the dishes I posted before, are on sale at half the price that I showed in the past. Yep, I'm in trouble again and couldn't pass up one on the sets, that I wanted to buy a couple of months ago. I don't know where I'm going to hide this set in my house, so I think I'll just have to send it to one of my kids houses for now, and then retrieve it at some other time.

Before I get to the biggest sales, and the set I'm buying, I wanted to talk about Butler's Pantry, by Lenox. I think most of us would like to have these pieces, especially since the collection is so interesting. The basic set is what I'm showing below But for all of you 'Rooster Lovers', have you come across these Butler's Pantry pieces yet? I haven't, so I thought I'd share them today.

So here is the bargain that I'm buying today. I love Toile, and with the original 'set price' listed at $518.99, later reduced to $89.95, and NOW selling for $49.99, I just couldn't pass it up this time.

This next set is a 45pc set by Gorham. It's pattern is Flowering Meadow, listed for $530 on sale today for $99.99.

For those of you that love your blue china, there is this other 45pc. set Churchhill Finlanda, listed at $355, on sale now for $49.99.

And the last one I'm showing today is, Assam, a 37pc. set, listed at $375, on sale for $49.99.

Okay so your still thinking that I work for Boscov's, NOT TRUE.......I keep in touch because I still have many friends working there and I like to feel close to them. So when I get the email, sales, I can't help but to open them , and go thru the adds, especially the china sales. I then feel I have to pass them on to all of my dishaholic friends. ;) Hey......if I have to get in trouble with my DH for buying more dishes, why not have my blog friends join me too. :) Check out all the dish sales at http://www.boscovs.com
Ciao

Hi Again D~ ~ ~
Thanks for the tip, Just called Boscovs and they are holding a set for me to pick up later today. Your a doll, thanks for sharing. Love Boscovs! My Aunt Mary was a friend of Albert Senior who started it all. She lived on the street where his first store was, in Reading, and shopped there all the time. It was just a little general store that he grew into the department stores we all love.

Got the same pattern you did. At that price I could not say no.
