MY FIRST PINK SATURDAY

I don't have a whole lot of PINK in my house or in my wardrobe either, but I do like pink and green used together and had thought of doing a pink and green kitchen, at one time. I intended to buy the Franciscan, Desert Rose pattern, but I chickened out (cluck, cluck) and bought my apple pattern instead. The iced tea glasses, pictured below, were from Pfaltzgraff, when they were having their glasses made in Mexico. I'm not sure if they do that any longer. But I fell in love with these and bought them. At the time I used them with my Pfaltzgraff, Heritage pattern, and they worked very well together with the pink and green floral place mats I had, or the lime green ,vinyl place mats I used on our tables by the pool. The kids loved when I put dessert in them, weather it was just ice cream, or jello and pudding, it always made a big hit with them.
Here they are all lined up, I have twelve.

Happy First Pink Saturday, D! I'm loving those glasses. I too was enamored with the Franciscan desert rose pattern when I was registering for my wedding - I was so indecisive at the time. Then my cousin Jill was getting married at the same time and she chose it so I let it go. It's pretty how you have them lined up in a row. ~ Robyn
